Doomsday Film Festival

I will be moderating a panel discussion on apocalypticism: “THE END IS NIGH: PROPHECIES OF END TIMES FROM THE RAPTURE TO 2012” this  October 25th at this year’s Doomsday Film Festival. The festival is from October 23 through the 25th and will be taking place at 87 Lafayette St. in Manhattan.

Panelists include:

Gabriel McKee, author of The Gospel according to Science Fiction
Keith Uhlich, editor of The House Next Door and film critic for Time Out New York
Lee Quinby, author of Millennial Seduction: A Skeptic Confronts Apocalyptic Culture

and my close friend Leigh Rogers who has done extensive research into the work of the theologian Jurgen Moltmann who advocated for a Christian eschatology of  “hope.”

the discussion will follow the screening of the film “The Rapture.”
