What is AJGita.com?
AJGita.com is a multipurpose website that provides information about the holistic healing services of Andrew J. Rosenthal and is a survey and summary of his work as a multi-faith educator. What does AJGita mean?
A.J.G.: “Andrew Joseph Genco” Rosenthal is Andrew’s full given name – hence the “AJG”
Gita: The Sanskrit word for “song” – e.g the भगवद्गीता, Bhagavad Gītā, “Song of God.” The “Gita” is part of the longer Mahabharata, the great Indian epic poem and contains the instructions of the Supreme Being Himself (Lord Krishna) to his disciple Arjuna.
Agita: Heartburn, acid indigestion, an upset stomach. The word is Italian-American slang derived from the Italian agitare meaning “to agitate.” Theology can and should shake people up, provokes questions, and maybe even give someone an upset stomach.
