Multi-Religious Education

Having both academic training and extensive personal and professional experience Andrew J. Rosenthal is versed in many of the world’s religions and a multiplicity of spiritual practices. Currently he works as a Jewish educator for the Interfaith Community, a not for profit organization that provides educational classes for the children of Jewish and Christian parents. While attending  at the University of Rochester he served as teaching fellow for a course on South Asian religions. While at Union Theological Seminary he founded the “Live the Spirit – Be the Change” workshop series dedicated to connecting spiritual practice to social justice advocacy. In 2008 Rosenthal facilitated a twelve week life skills course on behalf of the Interfaith Assembly on Homelessness and Housing (IAHH) for adults recovering from the trauma of homelessness. He also aided in IAHH’s mission to bring together faith leaders from many tradions to advocate on behalf of homeless people in New York.
