I will be moderating a panel discussion on apocalypticism: “THE END IS NIGH: PROPHECIES OF END TIMES FROM THE RAPTURE TO 2012” this October 25th at this year’s Doomsday Film Festival. The festival is from October 23 through the 25th and will be taking place at 87 Lafayette St. in Manhattan.
Panelists include:
• Gabriel McKee, author of The Gospel according to Science Fiction
• Keith Uhlich, editor of The House Next Door and film critic for Time Out New York
• Lee Quinby, author of Millennial Seduction: A Skeptic Confronts Apocalyptic Culture
and my close friend Leigh Rogers who has done extensive research into the work of the theologian Jurgen Moltmann who advocated for a Christian eschatology of “hope.”
the discussion will follow the screening of the film “The Rapture.”
4:30PM – 6:45PM
Screening:
The Rapture | Michael Tolkin, U.S., 1991;

Well it took me long enough but the website is up and running. I’d like to thank everyone who made this possible – Eric Milford, Erin Newton, Jen Lindsay and Ally Rottuno for helping with the logo. I hope to keep the site as up to date as possible and post regularly in the future.
